God had made the world so well,
Such Lovely animals put there to dwell,
Midst graceful mountains, forests, lakes -
In a world both free of care and aches;
He sought out one to rule the land,
And in His image thus made man.
God breathed into his nostrils of clay,
And a living soul was made that day.
A helpmeet made He for this man,
To walk with Adam, hand in hand.
His love for His children was so great,
That only sin could separate.
He put them in Eden, a garden to dwell
And His works He did bless for He had made all well.
